Prominent Ambassadors
The Beluga School for Life is pleased about the support of the prominent ambassadors Susanne Gärtner, Tim Borowski and Miriam Pielhau!
Miriam Pielhau
"My husband and I experienced the tsunami and all the suffering connected with it first hand. Since then there is this soul connection between us, the Thais and particularly the region around Khao Lak; not only because the people showed us their unlimited willingness to help us in our flight from the wave and in the jungle. Therefore it is a matter close to my heart to return some of the help we received back then. The Beluga School for Life helps children and families who fell victim to this incomparable catastrophe in a unique way and makes possible for them what seems almost impossible: a new, happy life. You can participate in this process through your donation or stay at the BSfL." Miriam Pielhau works as TV presenter and journalist.
Susanne Gärtner
Even prior to the visit of the Thai Crown Princess Sirindhorn, the project had been receiving a great deal of attention as an exemplary form of private initiative. UNESCO and the United Nations have classified the underlying concept as "particularly valuable". The actress Susanne Gärtner, who has been actively dedicating herself to UNESCO for quite some time, graciously agreed to be an ambassador for the BSfL. Gärtner plays the leading role in the ZDF-telenovela "Julia - Wege zum Glück“.
