It is important to us that you feel comfortable with your commitment. That is why we have developed a maximally flexible sponsorship program. No matter which of the four models you choose: we appreciate your support!

We cordially invite you to become a sponsor of one of our children. Or would you rather lend project-related assistance? That is also possible. We furthermore greatly welcome the help of companies and schools. As a sponsor within the framework of any of the available models, you help to establish a lasting, stable foundation for the Beluga School for Life.

How to become a sponsor
We select the child you will sponsor and introduce him or her to you by means of a photo and a portrait. Your sponsorship helps to ensure the long term living costs and education of the child. It is of course possible to terminate the sponsorship at any time.

Special care is taken to ensure equal treatment
Adoption of our children is not possible. The children are treated equally independent of a sponsorship. In order to prevent preferential treatment, the money from the sponsorships is put into a common fund.

Benefits for both parties 
IYour donation has a concrete addressee. You can accompany the child you sponsor in his/her development long term. It is possible to directly correspond with those children that exhibit an increasing knowledge of English via letters. Tell the child you sponsor about yourself, your life and anything that could be interesting! This provides him/her with insights into unknown areas of life. Three times a year you receive HOME - the magazine of the Beluga School for life, which lets you participate in current developments. Once a year you receive a report on the development of your sponsored child. You are also welcome to visit the Beluga School for Life and the child you sponsor.

Sponsoring a Child
As sponsor of one of our children you accompany the child on his/her journey through life.  Your support contributes to covering the costs of living and education. The costs for food, clothing, hygiene, medical as well as socio-pedagogical care amount to 30 Euro a month. Education and schooling requires another 40 Euro. This covers the teacher salaries, books and school supplies as well as professional support in the area of trauma therapy and the development of child-oriented and practical curricula.

Not everyone can afford 70 Euro a month for a sponsorship. This is why it is also possible to sign up for a partial sponsorship for 30 or 40 Euro. Or you can find a tandem partner, with whom you may share the costs for sponsoring a child.

Project sponsorship
If you would like to support the Beluga School for Life without assuming an individual sponsorship you are of course welcome to do so.

Your monthly contribution will help us to invest in the area of organic farming or to maintain an infirmary, for example.

Company sponsorship
One aim of the Beluga School for Life is an upbringing that leads to entrepreneurial spirit and socially and ecologically responsible behavior. The Beluga School for Life wants to create an environment which encourages children and adolescents to develop and try out entrepreneurial ideas in a playful manner - without the need to secure their own livelihood. This allows the children and adolescents to prepare for future situations in which it will be important to create employment opportunities for themselves and others (instead of chasing after non-existent ones) and to disrupt the cycle of poverty.

This does not imply the participation in an increasingly rapid spiral of consumption. The idea is rather to ensure a high quality of life while simultaneously ensuring the preservation of scarce resources.

If you want to support us in this endeavor, you are more than welcome! If you would like to form a partnership beyond a simple sponsorship, we would be pleased to establish the individual conditions for this together with you. Maybe your company profile corresponds with the theme of one of the study places or Centers of Excellence at the Beluga School for Life: In this case you could become co-founder and partner of a center - as "Business Angel" or coach. The children of the School for Life will consider themselves lucky if entrepreneurially experienced adults will help them in the development of their first ideas and small business models for their "mini-enterprises".

School sponsorships
Often the desire to jointly commit to a project or to support a particular organization arises in a class. If your class would like to lend financial support, the concept of the Beluga School for Life offers many possibilities for sponsorships and partnerships. It is possible to exchange information with the children via letters or e-mails regarding, e.g., religion, lifestyle, regional geography or diet.

During project-oriented lessons, the Beluga School for Life can act as a starting point for an interdisciplinary "journey of discovery". It becomes the focus of the lessons and gives reason to discuss the geography, ethnology, culture, economy, religion and social questions of the country.
