The Altes Gymnasium Bremen came into contact with the Beluga School for Life for the first time in 2007, when a school group won the first Bremen dance contest “Chang-Song”.
Since then the Beluga School for Life and the Altes Gymnasium Bremen are connected through a close cooperation. Subsequently the humanistic secondary school took over the first school sponsorship in Bremen. Furthermore during a charity run in the summer of 2008 several thousand Euros were collected from the run, which were used for both the school’s own projects and for the Beluga School for Life.


As a specialist for office furniture and equipment and individual interior fittings, BKE Fislage takes care of the conceptual design, planning, and completion of entire business fixtures. Lobby and reception, conference and seminar rooms, individual workplaces as well as open-plan offices, customer centers, cafeterias, and doctor’s practices are furnished with high quality, original and sometimes even unconventional furniture.
Since 2007 BKE Fislage aims its support at individual projects within the Beluga School for Life with its annually organized Chair-Hockey tournament and thereby contributes continuously to the development and expansion of the entire project. This way a multi-purpose sports field, for example, could already be built and in the future, ergonomic furniture ought to be acquired for the school building.

The printing workshop of the general and intermediate secondary school, managed by the devoted educationalist Gert Sudbrack, serves as a role model for a bookbinding and printing training workshop at the Beluga School for Life.
The printing workshop initiated the idea of introducing the children and adolescents at the Beluga School for Life to the art of printing and bookbinding. The students learn to print paper or bind booklets. With the sale of these items they move one step closer to the future financial independence of the entire project. The Augustfehn printing workshop not only helps the Beluga School for Life with establishing the training workshop, but also actively supports the project’s fundraising efforts.

For decades the corporate group fm has been one of the leading manufacturers of premium high quality office furniture. The family business with its head office in Bösel, Germany is specialized in the integrated planning, production, delivery, and assembly of reception furniture, systems for management and administration, conference room furnishing, as well as custom-made products.
In the name of all associates of the company, the CEO of fm office furniture, Theodor Budde, handed the Beluga School for Life a generous donation, which flowed directly into the daily support of the children on site.

For more than 70 years, HABA has been developing wooden toys with extraordinary attention to detail. Nine designers, five ‘play’ editors and three graphic artists work meticulously, design and discard, draw sketches, build models and play, play, play. The results are high-quality toys and games that not only support the age appropriate development of children, but make it fun! Before HABA’s products are exported to over 50 countries, construction and quality assurance specialists put the newest models through their paces. An independent testing laboratory confirms the safety of all toys and materials. The company now lets the children of the Beluga School for Life benefit from its toy expertise and, among other things, donated building blocks and a marble run.

The architectural firm was founded in Bremen in 1970. Since then, approximately 15-20 employees have been supervising various construction projects. The two owners Harm Haslob and Jens Kruse can look back on numerous awards and successful construction projects. The first contacts between Beluga Shipping and the HKP architecture office already began in 2009 when the Beluga Shipping Company building was built on the Teerhof.
Since then Haslob, Kruse + Partner have been part of the circle of friends and supporters of the Beluga School for Life. A generous donation in 2009 provided direct on-site assistance to the project.

In the course of the teaching module “Learners’ Company” the Beluga School for Life (BSfL) has cooperated with the University of Applied Sciences in Bremen very effectively since 2008. Here, the particular cooperation with the international fields of study ‘Applied Leisure Science’ and ‘Tourism Management’ are especially interesting.
Under the responsibility of Prof. Dr. Bernd Stecker, who is also patron for sustainable tourism in the BSfL guest area, and also under the direction of the BSfL employees, students of the Learners’ Company will come up with solutions and recommendations for specific problems in the course of a semester in order to support the project continuously. Therefore, concepts for school encounter trips as well as means of improvement for the guest area in the BSfL have already been worked on, among other things, with respect to sustainable tourism management.

„IM puls – Anette´s Wellness- und Genusstraining“ by Anette Wendler-Krug in Ditzingen-Heimerdingen, near Stuttgart, has been supporting the Beluga School for Life since 2005. Body, mind and soul of the customers are harmonized by means of different massage techniques, spa treatments, Qi Gong and aqua fitness. The highlight is that one euro from every massage, treatment, and class is donated to the Beluga School for Life.
Their enthusiasm for the aid project inspires the spa and exercise coach and her family to visit the BSfL regularly.
In the future she wants to pass on her skills and knowledge to the children of the project in Na Nai.

The company my-sauna GmbH is the specialist for infrared saunas. my-sauna GmbH offers high quality saunas in different designs and sizes, accessories, delivery as well as assembly to satisfy all individual needs.
my-sauna GmbH supported the Beluga School for Life with a generous donation to purchase tiles. By this means all floors of the family houses could be improved. The managers Norbert and Sylvia Casellini are also privately connected to the project through a sponsorship.

Since 2008 the KF Group has also supported the Beluga School for Life. With its constant and generous dedication, which above all has benefited the children in Na Nai, contributions could be made to the continuing further development of the Beluga School for Life.

Since the 1st of November 2010 the Lloyd Gymnasium in Bremerhaven is an official school partner of the Beluga School for Life. From now on the 6th grades of the Lloyd Gymnasium and the Beluga School for Life will intensify their cultural exchange by mail correspondence. Besides the mail correspondence both schools will use the internet, so that students can see each other and talk via webcam to get a better understanding about the other culture and to improve their English skills. Also the students of the upper level benefit from the school partnership. They have the chance to do an “educational school trip” to the Beluga School for Life in Thailand. The aim of that project is to reach a connection between students of both countries, which opens eyes to other cultures, traditions and which improves the tolerance for each other.

Because of his special connection to Thailand, the founder of pepXpress, Martin Fuchs, was determined to support the Beluga School for Life in a sustained and effective manner. As a result, clients have the chance to donate 1 € when booking a trip over the pepXpress portal. Then pepXpress will double the resulting annual sum out of this effort.

The step foundation encourages and supports children and adolescents who have gone through traumatic experiences such as loss of parents, poverty and hunger, abject refuge, sexual assault, and discrimination.
Since 2006 the step foundation also supports the Beluga School for Life. A playground and a jungle gym were developed and co-financed in close cooperation. Additionally, with the help of the foundation’s own experts, the step foundation makes advanced training in integrated trauma therapy possible for the education personnel of the project and thereby supports the Beluga School for Life in a long-lasting manner.

The tagwerk agency belongs to the leading agencies in the field of Human Resources Marketing in North Germany. Founded in the beginning of the 1990’s, tagwerk has evolved from being an agency specialized in conception, graphics, and production processes to a company with human resources marketing (especially job ads) as its core business activity. In addition the agency still supervises several accounts of mid-sized companies today with the layout of brochures, business stationary, ads, and Internet presence.
tagwerk devotes itself continuously for the Beluga School for Life with donation payments made regularly, which flow directly into the work done with the children on site. Moreover tagwerk provided funds for the structuring of a classroom in the new school building.

Tutoria offers qualified tutoring at home in many languages and subjects throughout Germany. Those in search for private lessons can find the right tutor, who comes to the student’s home, at tutoria. A pedagogic advising team stands at the inquirer’s side, gladly answering all questions and supporting them with choosing a suitable tutor.
Tutoria has set the goal of encouraging education in Germany and across the globe. Therefore tutoria works in cooperation with several different partners in the area of education in order to reach this goal. The cooperation comprises of joint projects and mutual support. Partners include the reading foundation ‘Stiftung Lesen’, the Bookbridge, and now also the Beluga School for Life, among others.

The VfL Oldenburg is characterized by its long team history, which is particularly distinguished by its numerous sporting successes from the 1st Women’s handball national league as well as on the European level. The VfL Oldenburg places special attention to its exemplary youth work.
The handball players have supported the Beluga School for Life already since the beginning of the project. With ongoing measures such as setting up donation boxes, displaying informational material at home games, as well as other different actions, several thousand Euros have already been collected over the years for the Beluga School for Life. Aside from sponsorships from individual teams and the participation at different charity runs, a double game day in the women’s regional league, among other things, is dedicated to the project once every season and all proceeds of the day are donated to the Beluga School for Life.

The Wassmann printing service firm, which is meanwhile operated under the second generation, has been the representative for large print shops in North Germany for four decades. The company, which has been headed by Mr. Volker Wassmann since 1999, offers products ranging from transparencies for vehicle advertisements to large posters up to brochures and catalogues in all sizes, as well as print runs of almost every print product. All requests from clients, coming mostly from the publishing sector, advertising agencies, and the industry, can be fulfilled with the help of consolidated partners throughout Germany.
Since 2008 the Wassmann printing service is committed to the Beluga School for Life in a special way. Instead of making Christmas presents for his clients and business partners, Mr. Volker Wassmann decided to support the Beluga School for Life with its development.
By this means a mobile kitchen could be purchased in 2008 for its use to sell food and beverages at markets or other events. With the same donation in 2009 he supported the implementation of a book manufactory on the Beluga School for Life premises.

The Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) belongs to the worldwide leading networks in the heavy lift cargo transport sector with experts and partners on all business levels. WWPC’s core business includes the planning and realization of transports of particular freights and heavy cargo, chartering in the flying range, freight packaging, legal support, and warehousing goods.
Since 2009 the consortium has supported the Beluga School for Life financially and also by means of contacts to their worldwide partners.

Initially with the financing of the football field, Werder Bremen has already shown its sportive devotion to the Beluga School for Life.
Moreover, the friendly relationship has now progressed into a cooperation with the Werder project ‘100% Werder Worldwide’ with its patron Wynton Rufer. Within the framework of this cooperation a ‘football-holiday program’ in the Beluga School for Life ought to get going, which will be open to all children in and around the aid project and should thereby place the sport in the foreground as means of communication, exchange, and elated togetherness. In addition, jerseys, goalie gloves, balls, and further necessary materials will also be donated for amicable playing.
